Do I Have PTSD?
Complex PTSD vs Classic PTSD
Complex PTSD is a type of post-traumatic stress disorder. Symptoms may have less of a clear trigger than classic PTSD. Complex trauma is developed over time rather than in an instant. Bullying, betrayal, emotional or spiritual abuse, coersion, and neglect are some examples of this.
The symptoms of Complex PTSD can vary from sleep disturbances, lack of control of emotions, avoiding the place/people involved in the traumatic events, loss of trust in relationships, inability to trust yourself and others, and obsessively on the look out for other things that might hurt you.
