Looking for a 2025/2026 Internship in Arizona or Utah?

Therapist Training Program

All of our interns are carefully chosen to be a part of the Modern Eve family. We want people who know they want to work in an outpatient setting, ready to make a long term career commitment, and are excited to learn and grow.

Students that choose to do their internship with us can expect to get more training and supervision than the average internship site. We really want you to find your style, hone their skills, and learn to trust your clinical judgment. Interns are required to do some clinical assisting tasks as they build up their caseload. You’ll be a part of our weekly IFS consultation group, receive supervision, sit in on live counseling sessions, get weekly trainings in the following core competencies important to us:

  • Eating Disorders

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

  • Trauma

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Spirituality/Psychedelics

  • Identity Formation

Our Ideal Applicant

  • Second year grad student (will only consider a first year student who has 2+ years treatment center or similar field experience)

  • Has an interest in eating disorder recovery

  • Has an interest in treating complex PTSD using IFS

  • Has done, and is actively doing their deep inner, healing work.

  • Is plant medicine affirming

  • Is LGBTQIA+ affirming

Team Culture

Culture fit is very important to us. We want clinicians who are “Modern Eve’s” in their day to day life. The team goes on a trip once a year together where the focus is on connecting with one another. So if late night, deep talks and poolside laughs with your coworkers ain’t your jam - we may not be a good fit. We value longevity in this career and believe that having a supportive team is key in that.
