Kimberlee Cook, CSW (she/her)
If you’re looking to explore your inner world, you’re in the right place!
Maybe relationships feel harder than they seem like they should. You might find yourself people-pleasing, overthinking, striving for perfection, or questioning whether your needs are “too much.” Perhaps you’ve spent years taking care of everyone else and slowly losing touch with what you actually want.
These patterns aren’t signs that something is wrong with you. Often, they’re adaptations—ways you learned to stay connected, accepted, or safe when your needs, emotions, identity, or authentic self didn’t always feel welcome.
I’m passionate about helping adults heal from trauma and attachment wounds and understand how early relationships can continue to shape self-worth, emotional safety, and relationships in adulthood. Together, we’ll get curious about the patterns that helped you survive while building greater self-trust, healthier relationships, and confidence in your own voice.
I also provide LGBTQIA+ and queer-affirming therapy for adults exploring sexual orientation, gender identity, and what it means to live authentically. Whether you’re questioning, coming out, navigating relationships or family dynamics, or working toward greater self-acceptance, therapy can be a place where you don’t have to minimize or explain who you are.
I’m Kimberlee, and outside the therapy room, you’ll often find me hiking with my dogs, practicing yoga, dancing at live music, or finding another excuse to be outside. I bring that same warmth, curiosity, and humanness into therapy. You don’t need to have everything figured out—we can start exactly where you are.
I offer in-person therapy in Sandy, Utah, as well as online therapy throughout Utah.
Healing isn't about becoming someone new. It's about reconnecting with the person you've always been underneath the hurt.
